My wife trusts me. I have never given her any reason (that she knows of) to not believe anything I tell her. She knows I can't sleep so I have a lot of latitude with getting out of bed.

My business also has a lot of emergencies that have been confirmed over the years so there is never anything on her mind other than she hates my job.
